The CAD to AAA pipeline:

Important: You'll need WinRar to properly extract the archives, you just need to select the first one, for example "Part 1", then right click on it and choose "Extract file", this will extract all the archives and re-merge them seamlessly.

This course is all about the ins and outs of the CAD to AAA workflow. You will learn every essential step to go from unusable CAD data to an optimized and fully textured mesh, ready for game use, through practice, modeling, and optimizing this monster of a project, the M96.

What You Will Learn:

- CAD modeling, whether it’s through a surfacing or volumetric approach.

- The art of 3d optimization, through manual retopology, baking and texturing.

-How to Manage Hard Surfaces: Correcting Shading Errors and Understanding Normals.

- Let’s dive into the nitty-gritty of texel density! It’s time to choose your target texel density wisely—no more random values that lead to those frustratingly blurry textures. Everything you need to know is right here!

- The key to presentation, rendering.

- Importing a model and handling it in a game engine such as UE5.
